Czechoslovakia and the Korean peninsula during the Cold War research project
The purpose of this blog is to present the ongoing research project on Czechoslovakia and the Korean peninsula during the Cold War (AKS-2023-R047)Czechoslovakia (CSSR) was one of the few European countries having a long and uninterrupted period of interaction with Korea. Following World War II, ethnic Koreans began to teach the Korean language at the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, and by 1950 a Korean studies department was established at Charles University in Prague. This blog will present the project's members and inform about upcoming events and the project's outcome. The main objective of this blog is to network with an academic audience.
