IRCAB is an International Research Network (IRN) created by the CNRS. It offers, from a series of transversal questions, crossed views on two territories - the Caribbean and the Americas - certainly different but confronted with similar challenges. The ambition is to promote comparative studies, resolutely interdisciplinary, on the modalities of construction of socio-political, socio-technical or socio-cultural compromises across the stages and arenas where the different visions of biodiversity within space are confronted and coordinated. The focus is also placed on the articulation between these socio-political compromises and public action.
