This research notebook will be a companion to the evolution of Justine Robinas' thesis project on the use of preterition in French narrative texts from the 12th and 13th centuries. It is a research journal, which she will use to leave traces, from one week to the next, of the intellectual process that will lead her towards the actual writing of her thesis. She will also use this venue to discuss academic life in her university (or not) and her participation to conferences and workshops, and she will also occasionally write reading reports on the works she is studying for her thesis as well as theory and criticism works she will read.
