DREAM
Drafting and enacting the revolutions in the Arab Mediterranean. In search for dignity - from the 1950's until today
The blog will focus on recurrent topics spanning from the subject of what a “revolution” means, to questions about (anthropological) history including its history of political emotions, the non-/ impact of social movements, as well as, the power and importance of archives. The blog’s purpose is to exchange and share the research of the DREAM team during and after their field-research as well as with a wider audience of interested scholars. It is also meant to increase the project’s visibility within and beyond the academic field. The expected readership ranges from historical anthropology, to sociologists and anthropologists, Middle Eastern Studies, including Political Science with a focus on the Mediterranean and/or the Middle East/North Africa.
