Academics for Peace Blog – A Case Study
Documenting and Contextualizing the Instrumentalization of the Law in Turkey
This blog will document the judicial proceedings and collect information and empirical material in preparation of a planned research network on the suppression of academic freedom and on the persecution of critical academics by means of legal instruments in Turkey and other countries. Its aim is, on the one hand, to create an archive of factual and up-to-date information that researchers, journalists and others with an interest in the topic can use. On the other hand, this blog will provide contextualization and analysis from a variety of different disciplines and theoretic approaches.
