Joint Centre of the École française d'Extrême-Orient and the Max Weber Stiftung
The European Research Centre for Chinese Studies (ERCCS) in Beijing is based on a collaboration between the École française d’Extrême-Orient (EFEO) and Germany’s Max Weber Stiftung – Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute im Ausland (MWS). The goal of the centre is to help build contacts and collaborations within Chinese, French and German humanities and social sciences, conduct basic research and organize conferences and lectures. This blog informs about ongoing activities and research at the centre.
