Le carnet diffuse une information scientifique rigoureuse et accessible à tous sur les sociétés humaines du Proche-Orient ancien. Né au sein de l'UMR 7192 (CNRS-Collège de France), le carnet publie aussi les billets de collègues français et étrangers. Outil d'information entre collègues, ce carnet permet aussi à tout public de s'informer sur les tendances de la recherche française et internationale concernant l'histoire, les langues, l'architecture, l'iconographie et l'art du Proche Orient ancien, spécialement de Syrie et Mésopotamie.
The blog spreads a rigorous scientific information but also accessible to all audience on the human societies of the ancient Near East. Born in the UMR 7192 (CNRS-College of France), the blog also publishes the notes of other French and foreign colleagues. This is a tool for information among colleagues, but it also allows any audience to learn about trends in French and international research concerning the history, languages, architecture, iconography and art of the ancient Near East. especially of Syria and Mesopotamia.
