Opening of the LusOpenEdition portal
OpenEdition’s international expansion heads south with the launch of the LusOpenEdition website, the Lusophone humanities and social sciences portal. The project has been created in partnership with the CRIA (Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia - Lisbon), and co-financed by the Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian. The new portal was inaugurated in Lisbon during Open Access week, in the presence of the project team. In the months to come an increasing number of journals, books, research blogs and announcements will be published in the Portuguese language whatever the country of origin.
The LusOpenEdition portal already contains a number of academic event announcements, two Lusophone research blogs: No Mundo dos Museus and Indústrias Culturais and three journals: Confins, Etnográfica and Cadernos de Estudos Africanos.
If you wish to join the LusOpenEdition project, please contact our Lisbon offices or visit us in Sao Paulo, 15 June to 15 July 2012.
