Hypotheses.org now has 100 research notebooks!
The Cléo team is pleased to announce the appearance of its 100th research notebook on the Hypotheses.org: Prix littéraires, Réseaux, discours, représentations.
Edited by Björn-Olav Dozo, Michel Lacroix and Olivier Lapointe, the notebook deals with contemporary Francophone literary prizes. Its aim is to present the current state of ongoing collaborative research which is based on three themes:
- the study of prize jury networks;
- the analysis of journalistic discourse about prizes;
- readings of fictional works dealing with literary prizes.
We wish the notebook a big welcome to the platform!
Hypotheses.orgis the research notebook platform for the humanities and social sciences which Cléo has put at the service of the academic community. It enables research teams to communicate quickly and simply about their activities via the intermediary of preconfigured site on a shared platform. The platform may offer research blogs, field world, and notebooks from archaeological digs, academic watchdogs, seminar proceedings, research projects or publication projects.
Since its inception in autumn 2008, 100 notebooks have been brought onto the site by the Hypotheses.org academic committee, the platform’s decision making body which manages membership and the platform’s general direction. The Revues.org research notebook catalogue lists the 100 notebooks with descriptions of their content.
To start a notebook on Hypotheses.org, simply send an email to hypotheses@revues.org along with a membership form available on the platform’s site.
The platform often offers new functions adapted to research in the humanities and social sciences. Changes to come include multilingual management of content, the creation of newsletters, the inclusion of social networking functions and more. Notebook publication assistance will also soon be provided to help notebookers publish their content.
See you soon on Hypotheses.org!
