Questions about the future of books

As part of its Summer session on electronic publishing, the Cléo/Revues.org organises a series of free public conferences  “L’avenir du livre en questions” (Questions about the future of books) in Marseilles et Aix-en-Provence, September 7-15 2009.

  • Monday 7 Electronic cultures: What to expect (Milad Doueihi, Glasgow University).
  • Tuesday 8 Author rights in the electronic area (Philippe Aigrain, Sopinspace).
  •  Wednesday 9 Outlooks for electronic publishing (Hubert Guillaud, InternetActu / La Feuille / Fing).
  • Thursday 10 Print on demand:  a revolution for the book-object? (Luc Spooren, Unibook et Virginie Clayssen, Editis).

  • Friday 11 “The book, tomorrow. The revolution has begun”. Broadcast on France Culture in the program “Place de la toile”.
