Lodocat
The purpose of this blog is to connect researchers interested in the ANR project called LODOCAT. The purpose of this project is to provide a diachronic study (from the 9th to the 18th c.) of the different forms of Christianity that were to be found in the « border territories », located on political, religious and linguistic borders, i.e. the Lotharingian territories in the North, and the medieval «in-between lands » (pays-d’entre-deux) from the North Sea to Savoy. These territories, along with the Milanese, formed the « Catholic Ridge » during the Modern era (the liminal space of the catholic influence, between the Protestants in the East and the Catholics in the West).
