Lo scopo di questo blog è di recensire tutte le immagini esistenti della Natività, una delle scene più raffigurate dell'iconografia cristiana. Il corpus iniziale riguarda l'Italia, le pale d'altare e gli affreschi dal Duecento al Quattrocento, ma è destinato ad ampliarsi da un punto di vista cronologico, geografico e tecnico...This scholarly blog aims to list all the existing images of the Nativity, one of the most common scenes in Christian iconography. The initial corpus regards Italy, altarpieces and frescoes from the Duecento to the Quattrocento, but it should progressively get to a broader scope in terms of time, space and technical supports.
